My customer Suzhou Semight used the LMX2820 to do new project. But there don't have clock output, could you help to solve this problem? Below is their detail configuration, thanks.
According to the initialization and power-on timing process mentioned above, the configured process is as follows: Configuration Process:
1. Wait for 10ms after powering on (the voltages measured by the oscilloscope at VCC_CP, VCC_VCO, VCC_VCO2, VCC_MASH, and VCC_BUF are all above the minimum operating voltage of 3.15V);
2. Then perform a software reset (configure the R0 register to 24'h006272, wait for about 25us, then set the R0 register to 24'h006270);
3. Next, send the registers in the attached document in descending order;
4. Wait for 10ms, then send the R0 register configuration 24'h006270 again;End of process.
It can be measured that the LD pin output is pulled high, indicating that the VCO is latched, but the RFOUTA and FROUTB output clocks are never present.The device reads back the register values through SPI and confirms that the read-back values match what we configured, indicating that the SPI configuration is correct.
