i am using this circuit to monitor the window of , is the design calculation ok? But i have one doubt if i am monitoring 3.3V & both VDD & sense pins are connected to the same, the circuit will be wrong right? If the VDD is 5V, sense pin monitoring is 3.3V means it is ok right?

Hi Meghna,

Having the SENSE pin monitoring the VDD rail is a valid configuration and is a typical use case for this device.

Hi Jesse, if suppose Vcc3V3 goes bad the IC only will not work then how about the sense pin, in that case should we connect VCC5 to VDD pin and VCC3V3 to sense pin?

Hi Meghna,

If the VCC3V3 does not fall below the VDDmin, the device will stay functional. If there are concerns of the VCC3v3 going lower than 1.6V and the VCC5V is going to be more stable, then yes, use the 5V as VDD.
