I am currently exploring high-performance RF solutions for a project that requires precise and fast frequency sweeping. I am looking for a single IC or a tightly integrated solution that includes:
An inbuilt ramp generator
A Fractional-N PLL
A VCO, ideally covering from DC up to 6 GHz or 2.4 to 2.485 GHz and 5.725 to 5.85 GHz
The key performance requirements are:
Frequency sweep 1 (in Ramp Up-Down configuration):
Start: 2.4 GHz
Stop: 2.485 GHz
Sweep time/sweep rate: 0.1 μs/ 10 MHz
Frequency sweep 2 (in Ramp Up-Down configuration):
