Hello TI,
We are seeking a PLL device to phase lock an external Crystek 1 GHz voltage-controlled SAW oscillator (VCSO) part number CVCSO-914-1000 providing -138 dBc/Hz, 10 kHz offset phase-noise performance for use as a REFCLK source for Analog Devices’ AD9910 DDS synthesizer.
A 10 MHz REFCLK is preferred, a 100 MHz REFCLK is acceptable.
The AD9910 typical residual phase noise limit is -136 dBm/Hz (10 kHz offset) at the maximum operating frequency of 397.8 MHz. Our testing with a 1 GHz TCXO (-136 dBm/Hz, 10 kHz offset) has demonstrated that the AD9910 can achieve the residual phase noise limit. See the phase noise plot image below.
Expected temperature operating range: 0˚C to +45˚C
Please recommend a suitable PLL device that can cost effectively support our application.
