My customer has some questions about the LMX2615-SP exposed PAD.

Q1. Is gold plating a mandatory recommendation when designing a PCB for exposed PAD?

Q2. What is the recommended solder contact ratio between the exposed PAD and the PCB pad?

Q1. No I don't think so, the plating of the pcb does not matter.

Q2, I need some time to figure it out.

Hi JH,

I can't find the PAD to solder ratio data.

In our EVM, the paste mask for the PAD is 0.31496 inches x 0.31496 inches.
