Dear TI,
I have a logic signal "power_on" which controls the EN input of a boost regulator IC as follows.
| power_on | EN | boost regulator |
| low --> high | low --> high | off --> on |
| high --> low | high --> (delay 3 sec) --> low | on --> (delay 3 sec) --> off |
Can the TLC555 be used for generating such power-off delays or would you recommend using some other IC? Is there some reference design I could refer to?
The application is smooth turn-off of high-power LEDs.
