This device has a low capacitance of 0.55pF per channel making it suitable for protecting high-speed interfaces up to 6Gbps. DP1.2 Speed per lane is 4.32Gbps, USB2.0 is .480Gbps, and USB 3.0 is 5 Gbps so this device would work for all 3 interfaces. You can also look at this graph:
There are other devices with less channels that you could use in USB2.0 like ESD321. If you know the downstream circuit it will use then I could give you a better answer to your question but in terms of speed we should not have any problems with ESD204.
