Hello E2E Experts,
I used a TPL5110 to create a timing function.
I later realized that I actually need a delay on shutdown (the circuit should stay powered for a few minutes before turning off), but the TPL5110 only supports power-on timing.
I’m therefore looking for a component equivalent to the TPL5110, with the same ultra-low power consumption (nanoamps), but capable of handling a power-off delay instead.
From what I’ve read, the TPL5111 might fit this need, since it works the other way around — it keeps the output active and then turns it off after the delay.
Is the TPL5111 the right choice to replace the TPL5110 in this kind of application?
Are there any particular precautions to take (pinout differences, logic inversion, MOSFET driving, or LDO EN pin control)?
