LMKDB1102: LMKDB1102: Input Termination Selection

The Data Sheet for the LMKDB11xx, there is an option to enable internal 50Ohm internal termination for differential clock input. For the LMKDB1102, there is "No" Control Pin to select Internal termination, so should I conclude that this feature does "Not" exist for the LMKDB1102? I want to use LVDS Input, so my plan is to use an "External" 100Ohm across the Differential Inputs. This would provide 100Ohm Differential Impedance, as long as, "Not" internal 50Ohm Termination is "Enabled". Is this Correct, for LMKDB1102, with LVDS Inputs, I only need to suppy an "External" 100Ohm termination across the Differential Inputs?

    Hi Dallas,

    You are correct, there is no means of enabling internal terminations for the LMKDB1102. The recommended way to terminate an LVDS input is to do just as you said and add a 100 Ohm differential termination from P to N at the input to the device.
