Hi,

I try to plan LMK04832 clock output frequenies Using the TICS app.

Inpot clock is 100MHz.

I managed to get 375, 3.90625, and 125 MHz. But when adding 156.25 MHz, the app messages a "no solution" message

Please see the attached file.

Please advise on a solution, if one exists, or note any mistakes made in the SW data fill-in.

Hi Tamir,

Can you clarify whether or not your solution needs to be dual loop? And if so, what will be the value of your VCXO?

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the fast reply. The solution does not include a dual loop.

In our current design the LMX04832 is configured as " PLL2 Single Loop" (Fig 18 in the datasheet).

A 100 MHz clock is delivered on CLKin0

Hi Tamir,

The reason that no solution can be found is that the LCM of all of these output frequencies is not within the supported VCO range of this device. The frequency that is causing this to be the case is the 156.25MHz. If that can be amended, then perhaps it can work.
