Part Number: LMK1D1208
Hi, let me ask you a following question.
In series such as the LMK1D1208, is there a risk of failure if a clock input is received before power is applied?
Background of the question
- We are assuming that a 10MHz clock generated by card A will be supplied to card B via the backplane, and the 10MHz clock will be distributed within card B. *LMK1D1208 etc. are implemented on card B.
- Cards A and B must support hot-swapping. If card B is inserted into the device while card A is already inserted and outputting a clock, there is a possibility that the clock from card A will be input before power is applied to the clock buffer.
Thank you for your support.
Best Regards,
Takumi
