LMK1C1102: leakage

Hi support team,

in our application: LMK1C1102 Y0 connect to SoC, Y1 via FPC to another system, this system have level shift with a pull up 1K resister to 1.8V, when this system power on, but our board still keep power off (without turn on power), we find leakage from Y1 go through to Y0 and VDD/1G (through pull up resister) detail see below table1 .

because we don't have LMK1C1102 of detail diagram, please help to check it is this chip limitation?

we want to avoid this issue

Hi Tony,

Our characterization of this phenomenon is limited, due to the fact that operation in this mode (applying a voltage to an output pin while the part is unpowered, or non-VDD any pin for that matter) will trigger the ESD diodes, leading to the leakage you have seen and damage long term. This operation should be avoided.
