Hello my customer is attempting to use TICS PRO but is running into a security issue based on its dependancy on Python 3.11.5.0 which is associated with 58 known vulnerabilities.
LAM's IT team is strict and based on this the TICSPRO has been classified as medium risk.
IT is requiring all Lam Research employees to uninstall the TICS PRO application from our computers. Can you please let me know what the plan is to address this, is there an update coming soon that will update the Python dependency?
Personally I tried deleting the Python that was installed by the TICSPRO application in an effort to see if an updated Python would work, but the next time I ran the application I think it detected the missing libraries and re-installed the offending Python.
If there is a patch or technique that can work around this issue please let us know.
