Let me clarify this question:
Interpretation #1: Will the LMK03806 typically operate down to -55C?
I have operated this device down to -60C and it has worked fine. We have not evaluated the this with an external crystal or tried locking this at +85 and drifting to -60 without programming the device to ensure the VCO retains lock. We have not fully characterized this device down at -60, so there could be other potential issues there.
Interpretation #2: Will you GUARNTEE the LMK03806 will operate down to -55C?
Not without NRE or a business commitment to buy a large volume of this device.

My customer is asking the follow on question:
On the LMK03806B evaluation board, the instructions says to choose 20MHz external crystal, but it appears that 100MHz crystal is populated on the board. Is this correct?
If so, can you get me the part number for the 100MHz crystal?
Also the DNP parts on the schematic is somewhat different than the board. An updated schematic would also be great. Can you supply an updated schematic?

The 100 MHz crystal is the Connor Winfield CWX-813 XO at 100 MHz. We include this because you can actually get better performance with an XO than a crystal (and using the internal inverter) for the LMK03806.
For these boards, this is a newer product so sometimes make changes for this. I will get someone to update the instructions updated on the web to our most recent schematic.
