Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CODELOADER, CDCM7005
I got LMK04816B EVAL board from TI and I connected it to the computer through parallel port to uwire and followed all the instructions. It doesn't look like the boards is getting programmed. It isn't doing anything. I made sure the parallel port is working with another TI eval board (CDCM 7005). I followed all the troubleshooting provided in the documentation. Only thing working is the buffered output of 122.88 MHz, which shows the chip might be alive (LMK04816B gets warm, so I am guessing it's not dead). I connected the power supply and used all the debugging options with no luck. Has anyone used or had experience with this eval board, please let me know. I might be missing something here, but the instructions in the user guide are pretty simple and straightforward.
Looks like the parallel port to uwire cable isn't doing anything. I disconnected the cable from the board and tried to do CTRL+L from the code loader software and saw no transactions( clock, data whatsoever). Looks like the board is fine. It's combination of software and the parallel port to uwire cable Has anyone had this problem before?
