Hi All,

I am evaluating EVM for BQ24270 for my project. I have some query.

I went through the schematic of the TI kit based on BQ24270.

1) What is the voltage the I2C pullups will be connected to ? The BQ24270 datasheet shows 1.8V, but the schematic doesn't show a voltage since these 2 lines are brought out on a connector.

2) Please explain the requirement of 200 ohm resistors on both pull-up lines.

Regarding 1, the SCL/SDA lines work with pullups from 1.8V to VUSB.

Regarding 2, we ship the EVM with a USB-TO-GPIO box having a long ribbon cable. We were seeing some ringing on the pins so we use the resistors to damp the ringing. They are liking not necessary in a real application.
