Sine Wave generation.

Hi everybody,

We require to generate a sinusoidal oscillator IC / CHIP which can generate frequency from 1MHz to 100MHz.

Actually we want 1MHz, 10MHz and 100MHz frequencies but a variable one inclusive of the above range

will also serve the purpose.

I have been going through internet but I have not found a single chip that can cover this entire range. If

none, please highlight or point out a scheme which can fulfill the requirement

    Hi,

    you will probably have to use 400MHz DDS with 150MHz antialias filter. Depends on purity you need. You can get -60dB harmonics

    with DDS.

    Other way would be to use low jitter clock generator (like LMK04 series), pure sine wave oscillator at say 200MHz and a mixer...
