Problem in stabilizing DCO on battery run msp430f5529

I am running an MSP430F5529 at 25MHz using DCO. When powered with USB(5V) the clocks are fine and stable but when i power it using Li-ion battery(7.5V) it is not working. I am using TLV1117-33 for voltage regulation and have 10uF capcitors at each DVCC,AVCC and 470 nF at Vcore. The micro works perfect when powered with USB. Don't know what problem the battery is causing?
