Hi team
One question on LMK04906’s holdover function.
Does the holdover function should be enable or disable during the LMK04906’s initialization? CTM used manual mode input clock switching.
it is urgent and expect great support.
thanks

Hi Ted,
We recommend disable Holdover during the first register write after it is powered up. After it is locked, then enable Holdover.
The Holdover bits are located in R12, which will usually be programmed before PLL1 R and N-counter in R27 and R28.
The above operation would ensure that Holdover is enabled in a known state.
