High resolution timing with MSP430F5438

Hi,

I'm using an MSP-EXP430F5438 Devkit + CC3000 module.I'm developping a wireless sensor node application. I need to find a way to have high resolution time-stamps for every data collected by the sensor node. Real time Clock is not enough since maximum resolution is second.

Any ideas on how i can have microseconds or even nanoseconds resolution time stamps?
