LMK04906 spurs

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04906

Hi there,

I have lmk04906 at my custom board, successfully started it.

When I synthesize 2.5 GHz on clkout1, I also see some spurs at 356.25 MHz frequency, its 2nd and 3rd harmonics, that are 712.5 and 1068.75 MHz, and mirrors.

These spurs are internal spurs of my board for sure, they move when I move my central frequency.

When I set CF to 2400 MHz, they appear at 342, 684 and 1026 MHz.

Well, simple division 2500/356.25 gives us ~7, but I don't use such divider value in the lmk04906.

Does anybody have any ideas where they can come from and are there any ways to lower them?

P.S.: Clkin2 frequency = 100 MHz,

PDF1 = 1 MHz,

OSCin = 25 MHz (crystal oscillator),

PDF2 = 50 MHz (doubler on)

attached mac-file.

5164.2500 clk1 out, clk2 in 100 M, 25M crystal (280 fs).zip

Sergey
