LMK00105 - The Failure Mode when vddo exceeded vdd for a short time

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK00105

Hello,

My customer has a question about LMK00105.

[Q]

Please tell me the failure mode when Vddo exceeded Vdd for a short time.

Does Vddo short with GND when Vddo exceeded Vdd for a short time?

[Background]

My customer uses some LMK00105 for their PCB.

They use one of LMK00105 on the following condition.

Vdd=3.3V, Vddo for Bank A = 1.8V, Vddo for Bank B = 2.5V, Input Frequency = 125MHz

The short occurred between 2.5V power supply and GND with their board.

The problem was solved when they removed LMK00105.

So, They think that the problem occurred by LMK00105.

They designed the power supply start sequence of "Vdd and Vddo for BankA and Vddo for Bank B" with the same time.

But Vddo may exceed Vdd for a short time.

Please tell me the failure mode when Vddo exceeded Vdd for a short time.

Does Vddo short with GND when Vddo exceeded Vdd for a short time?
