Codeloader programming LMX2485 with Aardvark

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2485, CODELOADER, USB2ANY

Could I please have some assistance getting Codeloader to work with the Aardvark?  I had to switch to the Aardvark, since we only have Win7 (no USB2UWIRE) and no parallel ports that work.  This is to program an LMX2485.

With the newest Codeloader version, the option to select USB communication will not work.  I cannot find any documentation on this.

  • Shon,

Indeed the Codeloader had a problem that the USB2UWIRE did not work on Windows 7 and parallel ports are going away.  Some people have had some sucess with the windows XP emulator, but it does seem to crash a lot.

We are in the process of converting over all our boards to use the USB2ANY board that does work on windows 7 and are starting to ship this with our new boards.   THe USB2ANY forces a particular port setup that can not be changed and this is not what the LMX2485 has.  So we made a converter board.

Anyways, I do not know anything about Aardvark or how that works, but do know that a long term fix to this problem is being rolled out.

    Regards,

    Dean
