CDCS501 Delay Time

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCS501, CDCS502

Hell .

Any propagetion delay time much (CDCS501)?

  • Hi,

    Are you interested in knowing the power up time for the device? What is the spread spectrum setting that you have the device configured to?

    Regards

    Arvind

  • Thank you fo your ansur

    When you have normal operation, it is the time delay between the input to output.
    This is the delay time after the register settings, SSC is to appear in the output.

    Regards.

  • Hi,

    Unfortunately at this point of time, I do not have the requested data for CDCS501. But I was able to locate a scope capture on CDCS502  from no spread -> +/-0.5% spread condition. The condition captured on the scope is

    FS=1, SSC_SEL 0 = 0 and SSC_SEL 1 =0  ------> 0.00% Spread ----> 108 MHz output frequency

    to

    FS=1, SSC_SEL 0 = 0 and SSC_SEL 1 =1  ------> +/-0.50% Spread ----> 107.46-108.54 MHz output frequency

    The blue line in the plot is SSC_SEL 1 transitioning from 0 -> 1

    The behavior of CDCS501 will be similar when changing from a no spread setting to a setting with spread spectrum enabled.
