Hi

I have a problem with software from Texas Instruments that crashes This includes a PLL jitter - cleaner LMK04828B you want to use in our EFAP project. I want to use the software IT CodeLoader 4.8.8 download on their website last Friday. This app would allow me to get the value of all registers to initialize the setup for frequency output I want. I had used this software there for a few weeks and LMX2541 LMK04906 and it works fine, but when I select the device LMK04828B it crashes immediately. Another Clock Design Tool software seems to function more or less ( it still miss two channels on 14 possible) but does not provide the values of registers, unless I have missed a well hidden menu ... To your knowledge there would be no other configuration software would work and help me to get the values of all registers ? Otherwise I'll have to do any initialization myself  thanks

    Hello Carl,

    About LMK04828B crashing, can you tell me more about the error?  Also, does your system use a period (.) for decimal point or comma (,)?  Best results are achieved using period (.) for decimal point.

    The clock design tool software is for design of loop filter and simulation of phase noise only, there is no programming info associated.  In general - it is only necessary to simulate one of each frequency output, so the 12 outputs vs. 14 should not be a limitation.

      - Note: at this time, there are also other generalizations, like not including the SYSREF divider, etc.

    I apologize for the inconvenience, let me know some more info on the error you get with LMK04828B - hopefully we can get this resolved for you.
