Hi Twan,
Thank you for the inquiry. I have relayed your request to the applications engineer on the team who can best support technical inquiries on this device. He is currently out of the office and will be back on Jan 6th , 2014

Hi arvind
Is there anyone that can answer my question.
What i want to do is to lock to the 10 Mhz from my GPS receiver. and slowly look the TOF to the Puls per second from the GPS receiver.
regards
Hi Twan,
The LMH1983 was not designed to automatically support this use case, but it may be possible to support via manual programming. I will loop in the Apps engineer that now supports this product so he can clarify / confirm this use case.

Alan
Hi Twan,
As Alan mentioned, the device was not designed to support this use case. Also, we have not characterized and tested the device under this condition so we cannot gurantee data sheet parameters. Or how would the device behaves under 1pps reference.
Maybe externally you can align, using some logic, 10MHz reference to the 1pps reference and then feed the 10MHz reference to the deivce.

Hi nasser
The 10Mhz is already locked to the 1pps puls. the problem is that the lmh give a TOF output that is not locked.
it would be wonderfull if the pps puls can lock the TOF
