CDCM6208 - Pull up resistors for SPI programming

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCM6208

Hello,

Is it required to add pull-up resistors to SCL,SCS,SDI &SDO pins while programming CDCM6208 in SPI mode? Will these pull up resistors (4.7k each) affect the programming

  • Hello Veerasamy,

In SPI mode, the signal I/O definition is per table below and the I/O type is LVCMOS (with no internal pull-up/pull-down resistors)

While external pull-up/pull-down resistors are not required in SPI mode for programming, they are used to define a state on the input pins when the inputs are tri-stated by the external driver. LVCMOS inputs should not be left floating.
