LMX2531LQ2080E

Hi All,

About LMX2531LQ2080E,
The phase noise of 10kHz offset and 100kHz offset, I would like to grasp in what varies how much.
And so Is a phase noise (L(f) Fout) if what a maximum of [dBc/Hz] is assumed?

Best Regards,

Hisakichi Kobayashi.

  • Kobayashi-San,

For the LMX2531LQ2080, the phase noise might vary on the order of less than 4 dB over temperature and part to part variation is typically 2 dB or less.   However, testing for phase noise is expensive and difficult in production, so we do not provide any guarantees.

I tested a lot of 30 LMX2531LQ2080E evaluation boards and have the phase noise data from that.  For the 10 kHz phase noise, it varied by 3 dB from worst to best and for 100 kHz, it varied by 1 dB.   This variation also includes impact of other components on the boards.

So the variation typically is not that much and I have given some general tendencies, but just to be clear this does NOT imply any sort of guarntee.
