Clock Design Tool is down whenever load the saved state.

Clock Design Tool is always down when I try to load a saved states. (*.sav).

And, It i frequently freezes during calculation when I changed the input frequency and "R" ratio.

My OS is MS windows 7. Do you have any comment to stabilize the "Clock Design Tool".

I have windows 7 and use this tool extensively and do not have these problems. Is it possible that this issue is specific to a particular device? Maybe there is something corrupted for just this ini file. If you can post the *.sav file we can load it and see if we can replicate this problem you are having.

I have zipped because the board does not allow uploading the *.sav file.

I loaded the problem with no issues and got a custom PLL at 1525 MHz. I have version 1.3.5, 2012-7-18, whch is what the web says is the most recent version. I'm no sure what is going on here, but I wonder it has something to do with the custom PLL. We had issue wit this in the past, but fixed it.

It's very strange. I have always problem whenever I load the state file.

I attaches the window error message.

One of the strange thing is, the error pop-up window show the installed SW version is 1.3.4 even though I installed the latest 1.3.5. Is it related to the current problem. ?.

Hi all,

I have excatly the same problem. Clock Design Tool deterministically crashes when I load a .sav file or change the 'R' ratio. It also crashes occasionally regardless of what I do. The problem is neither due to the .sav file nor my PC. It always occurs for all .sav files on different w7 PC's.

I could not find any way to fix it and I think the question of ws key is not answered clearly.

I would be so glad if someone could help me, thanks.

I am having the same proble. I installed Clock Design Tool version 1.3.7 today, and cannot re-load a *.sav file I created. I also tried unstalling/re-installing and got the same error. I am a Windows 7 user.

Hi Olan,

I was never able to solve the problem. I tried versions 1.3.7 and 1.3.5 and had the same result for each. TI has not addressed the problem.
