CDCE62002 - Register setting of EVM after power up.

Hi Team,

Could you please tell me about the initial register value of CDCE62002EVM after power up.

When you open the GUI, it will show the default value of the EEPROM. However, when you click "Read all SPI Registers" the value changes.

Does this mean that EVM does not read the EEPROM data automatically ?

I need to know the initial state of CDCE62002.

EEPROM Default Value

Value after reading SPI registers

  • The default EEPROM values should match the values shown in Figure 21 of the datasheet.  Since you readback register 0 and 1 with all zero values, can you confirm the device supply voltages are correct, SPI signals are correct at device pins, and EEPROM was not overwritten and locked accidentally?  Are you able to write new register values and read-back the values correctly?

  • Hi Alan-san,

Thank you for your reply and I apologize for my delay.

I haven't been able to evaluate with the EVM, yet. I know that it is possible to write and read the registers. Please let me check again how the device is behaving.

    Thanks and Best Regards,
