Codeloader 4.9.0 error 6 (overflow)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2492, CODELOADER

Hello
I´m trying to program a LMX2492 with codeloader 4.9.0 via usb
Selecting the device from the list crashes the program with "error 6, overflow".
Is there a solution to fix this?
It was tested with following system setups:
Windows XP32 SP3 (newly installed with all available fixes), Windows 7 starter 32bit and windows 8.1 pro 32bit
All show the same result
best regrads

PS it crashes even if the LPT is selected....
  • Are your regional settings using "," as decimal point?  Please use "." as decimal point.  Let me know if you are already using "." as decimal point.

Let me know if you are not able to change from "," to "." as decimal point.

  • Hello Timothy
On my normal computer I could not switch the decimal point due to administrators restrictions. I managed to run the program on another (Laptop) machine which was specially set-up with a US version of Windows 8 and the error disapeared.
This "workaround" helps but it would be nice if the next version uses the decimal point as defined by the operating system (which ist "," in many countries)

    best regards
