Hello Alex,
that is correct. The performance EVM of the CDCE706 has a parallel port and can only be used with this software. Clock Pro is used for the programming EVM (socket-based EEPROM programmer). You can access the menu for that using the button when the software starts up or in the top menu bar "Tools/Programming EVM".
Best regards,
Patrick
After startup, I push button "Programming EVM Tool", choose cdce706. What's OK. I go to Generate Setup and push Select device. I don't find cdce706. Why???
Hello Alex,
for creating a register configuration you will need this software http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/scac073.
The Programming EVM Tool feature of Clock Pro works when you connect an EVM and you have a device inserted.
Best regards,
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
I have the same question with Alex, so I download the software http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/scac073 and install it, there is error when I install the software. It show that "Unable to local the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine", need to contact the vendor. Please find the detail as attached.
Regards,
Nanfang
Hello Nanfang,
you will need a Labview Runtime Engine 8.2x. When you are on Windows operating system this should work for you: http://www.ni.com/download/labview-run-time-engine-8.2.1/550/en/.
Best regards,
