Why no dual LMC555?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMC555, TLC555

Hello everyone! :)

I'm a hobbyist when it comes to electronics.  Recently I've been working on a design for a switching audio amplifier which will use a 555 as part of the modulator for each channel.  The amplifier will have two channels, and so requires two 555s.  My question here is two-fold:

1.  The design benefits from fast switching speeds, so I have opted to use a CMOS 555 in the circuit.  TI has two high-frequency variants:  the TLC555, and the LMC555 (formerly from National Semi).  Now, the LMC555 is superior to the TLC555 in practically every way, and I need two of them, so I went looking for a dual LMC555... but, apparently, it doesn't exist.

What gives, TI?

2.  Should I be cautious of using a dual CMOS timer to handle two independent channels of audio for fear of things like crosstalk, slower switching speeds or less source/sink due to sharing one die/package, or something else like that?  The timers will not be doing any heavy lifting, but I'm (probably irrationally) scared of crosstalk or some kind of weird interference.

Thanks!
