Hi,

Can USB port be used for CDCM7005 EVM?

It uses SPI.

If customer can use SPI to USB converter, can I get the GUI for USB control?

Hello David,
unfortunately we do not directly support USB access to the CDCM7005. You will only be able to use the existing GUI to generate the bits for you. The transfer has to happen using a MCU like MSP430.
Should you happen to have a MSP430 EVM or a USB2ANY from another TI EVM, you can do the following:
For example for the QFN EVM www.ti.com/.../scau015a.pdf:
Either
you connect to R62, R63 and R65
or
to the pin header J31. When you do that, you have to enable the level translator by making a connection from J30.18 to GND (C72, C73 have a GND close-by).

Hello David,
USB2ANY is multi-purpose box (like the FET430 debug tool) which we ship with most of the LMK048xx EVMs.
Your customer can also use similar like this. It is very convenient to use www.ti.com/.../MSP-FET430U5X100.
