CDCM6208 / about LOS_REF function

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCM6208

Hi,

We have some questions for CDCM6208. Would you please provide us some information?

Q1

Regarding the datasheet page 35, about Figure37. Smart Input MUX Auto-Switch Mode Timing Diagram, please let me know why the LOS signal remains high.

I beleave LOS_REF signal become low when Primary or Secondary input is present.

Q2

If that is the case(Q1), during how much period, is it necessary to response for LOS_REF(low to high, high to low)?

Best Regards,

Kato

  • A1. The bottom signal in Figure 37 should be labeled "LOS#" (inverted logic), so high state means "reference present" and low state means "reference lost".
A2. It takes up to 2 PFD periods for LOS detection time (L->H or H->L).

    Regards,
