Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SA555, NE555, SE555, NA555
What's the difference between a NA555, a NE555, a SA555, and a SE555, or are they the same part? If so, why are there so many part numbers for the same chip?

Hello Lucas,
The prefix letters refer to the operating temperature of the device.
| NA555 | -40C to 105C |
| NE555 | 0C to 70C |
| SA555 | -40C to 85C |
| SE555 | -55C to 125C |
All four devices perform the same function.
