Hello Team,

Could you please tell me two things about CDCE62002 ?

[Q1]
What is the default value of the EEPROM when shipped from TI ? All 0xFF ?

[Q2]
Can you use CDCE62002 without pre-programming the EEPROM. i.e. only using the register settings (RAM).
I believe it could.

Best Regards,

Kawai

  • Hi Kawai-san,

[Q1] the default values in the EEPROM are as follows: register 0 0x72A000E0, register 1 0x8389A061

[Q2] the CDCE62002 can be used without pre-programming the EEPROM but on powerup the EEPROM contents will always be copied to the active registers. If a known default state is required, additional programming time can be saved by executing an EEPROM write via I2C.

I understand. Thank you for your prompt response.
