I was trying to find the design for an 4th order loop filter to be used with an lmx2541 with an output frequency range of 3.48GHz to 4GHz. The wizard mode suggests lmx2541 for the design, however the loop filter design displays all values as zero. However, the tool works for some other frequencies and gives me the design. Can someone tell me the reason for this?

Hi Athira,

What Reference input frequency and Output #1 frequency did you put in Wizard mode? It seems to me that it works fine in my PC.

I tried with input frequency 100MHz and also tried the "Auto select best standard frequency operation". Further I'm interested in an output frequency of 3.5Hz, though when working with VCO_DIV=1, I would like to see if I can make use of the full available range of 3480Mhz to 4000MHz. Further, can there be any difference in the software versions we are using?

Hi Athira,
mine is version 1.3.5 , 2012-7-18. I don't have problems with 100MHz input and 3500MHz output. Please try reinstall the latest one from our Webpage again.

mine is version 1.3.7, 2015-01-06 and I hope it is the latest version. Can I access the older versions of the software from your webpage?

Hi Athira,

No, I don't think the older versions are available anymore.
I just download the latest version from the web and confirm I have the same problem as yours. I will have the team fixed it asap.

Hi Noel,

I updated my database with the files you provided. But, I'm still not able to adjust the poles ratio in the advanced information option; by clicking the "advanced information" tab my window simply goes like this. Please help- me with this.

Hi Athira,

I think it works but we've changed the GUI a little bit. On the left below is the old GUI, new GUI has already included all the options.
