TRF3765 VCO Frequency Range

Hi All,

TRF3765 datasheet has no information about the internal VCO frequency range.

In the datasheet it has been mentioned 300MHz to 4.8GHz output clock can be generated by using this TRF3765 PLL & there are two VCOs.

Kindly share the information about VCO frequency range of both the VCOs present in the PLL.

    Hi Soumya,

    The TRF3765 actually has 4 integrated VCOs. These VCOs range from 2.4 to 4.8 GHz as noted in the Electrical Char. Table on Page 3 of the DS. Figure 63 shows the tuning sensitivity per VCO core as well as their characterized operating region. Note that this table shows VCO gain outside of the range noted above - for guaranteed performance, the device should be configured within these parameters.
