Hi,

I would like to ask you a basic question about a fail safe function of CDCE72010.

The input buffers (PRI_REF and SEC_REF) have a fail safe function and this function can be cntrolled by register 1.

What is happend if the fail safe function is disable?

Takumi-san,

the fail safe function enables a hysteresis at the input pins. If this function is disabled then the inputs might switch due to small noise if the input is absence.
Fail safe function should be activated with DC coupled LVDS only.
