Hello,

I had finished my design with LMK03318.

I want to control LMK03318 in soft-control-mode through i2c interface.

So, could you give the right or estimated setting values for EEPROM in LMK03318 to get the result ?

PRIREF input : LVPECL 40 MHz

OUT0 : LVPECL 80MHz or 240MHz selectable

OUT1 : LVPECL 80MHz or 240MHz selectable

OUT4 : LVDS 40MHz

F_VCO : 4800MHz

We have the CodeLoader software GUI tool and GUI user guide to help with this.

You can generate the 2 register configuration settings (for the 2 selectable output frequencies you mentioned). Then, commit these 2 configurations to EEPROM Page 0 and Page 1, for example, as described in the EEPROM programming flow.

Thank you, Alan,
as you mentioned, I can use 2 pages of EEPROM to get my target frequencies.
But, I am trying to find the best way to control LMK03318 to get my target frequencies.
I would prefer to direct write to registers in register default mode, if it is possible.
Now, I am considerring "direct control register" without EEPROM access.
First of all, i must make sure whether it is possible or not.
Is it possible ?

Yes, it's possible to directly write to registers via I2C.
