Hi e2e,

The data sheet for the LMK04826 mentions 50% duty cycle typical. There is no tolerance. Our customer wants to know if the LMK04826 can achieve a duty cycle of at 50% +/-5% on the DCLKout/SDCLKout clock outputs. Is this possible?

Hello,

I think you should be able to achieve this, not being in the datasheet, there is no assurance for it. If you are using an odd divide, duty cycle correction is important to achieve the 50%. When using the SYSREF divider, there is no duty cycle correction.

What is the frequency of concern?

Very good. You can achieve 50%, just be aware at that frequency that signal integrity is very important. Poor signal integrity/reflections could disrupt your duty cycle to beyond 50% +/- 5%.
