[Q] USB2ANY for LMK04821

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04821

Dear TI-er.

I am debugging My LMK04821 board using USB2ANY_GUI (slvc495).

How I set up the SPI tab.

plz help me.

  • There are no changes required to the SPI tab to make the device operate.

Be aware if the RESET pin is held high (pins are at the right most on the Bits/Pins) tab. Then programming won't be possible as the device will be held in RESET state.

    For programming, the SPI_LOCK[23:16] = 0, SPI_LOCK[15:8] = 0, and SPI_LOCK[7:0] = 83. (Default mode has the correct information here)

To program the device, you should be able to..
    (1) click "Mode" from menu bar, then "CLKin1 122.88 MHz, OSCin 122.88 MHz"
    (2) click "Keyboard Controls" --> "Load Device" (or just press Ctrl+L)

For this mode, provide a 122.88 MHz reference clock on CLKin1. Note if the reference clock is > 20 ppm, the PLL1 may have some difficulty locking, try moving reference frequency very slightly.

    73,
    Timothy
