[ LMX2582 ] Post-R Divider Frequency Range

Hi,

Can you help me to understand frequency range of Post-R Divider?
According to datasheet, Post-R Divider should be used when extended PFD mode enabled. This means PFD can support from 250KHz to 400MHz.

However, table 1 says that the output frequency range is from 0.25 to 125MHz.
Can you explain how I understand this Output high frequency?

The datasheet of LMX2592 describe same information, too.

Hi Ken,

If you use the post-divider, i.e. value not equal to 1, then the max. output frequency after the divider is 125MHz. There is no input/output frequency limitation to the post-divider if you bypass it (i.e. value=1).
