LMK03318: Comparison between Actual Measurement and Webench

Is there application note or data of comparison between actual measurement and Webench for LMK03318?

Request spec is below,

・Input: 37.125MHz (CMOS)

・Output: 148.5MHz (LVDS)

The best is when data based on request spec.

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Hi Satoshi-san,

I do not have data for this exact case. However, since the PLL would be operating in integer mode for this case, there should be a good correlation between the Webench simulation and the actual measurement. In general, Webench is more accurate for integer mode.

I am attaching a phase noise plot that compares the Webench simulation values with actual data for the LMK03318 outputting 156.25MHz and using a 50MHz crystal as a source. Since the PLL is operating in integer mode and the input/output frequencies are similar, you can expect a similar level of correlation in your case.
