Dear Team,

On the LMX2571 outputs there is a TX/RX switch.

On p.40 it is mentioned the frequency switching is approximately 1msec however it doesn't relate to a situation where both f1 (TX) and f2  (RX) are the same.

Assuming both TX and RX has the same frequency (no need to change frequency), what is the switching time of the TrCtl ?

    Hi Nir,
    Basically TrCtl pin is used to switch output port. However you can also program it to switch output port as well as F1F2 register set (register F1F2_CTRL) simultaneously.
    If you use TrCtl pin to switch output port only, the switching time should be very fast (I guess in ns range) because the VCO remains unchanged.
