Hi,

in our design both the banks(total 8 outputs) of LMK00308 are configured as LVDS, two out of 8 differential clocks now needs to be drive two LMX2581 on the board , but the lmx2581 expects the input to be single ended.

lmk00308 outputs can only be configured to differential , Is there any way I can convert these differential outputs to single ended to drive both the lmx2581 inputs OSC .

Hi Timothy,

for lvds outputs of lmk00308 VOD = 400mv & vos=1.25V , will this be sufficient to drive OSCIn of lmx2581 which requires an AC coupled input of min : 0.4vpp to max :1.7vpp after i convert differential output to single ended as suggested in EVM instructions ??

lmk00308 output is converted to single ended using the reference circuit given snau136c.
