What is the typical output harmonic levels (2nd and 3rd) of the LMX2592 for both fundamental and divided frequency operation?

    Doug,

    The harmonics depend quite a variety of settings, the output power level, balance of output termination, PCB design, in addition to the output frequency (and like you already know, also the difference between fundamental and divided, or even doubled in case of LMX2592).

    second harmonics: for fundamental frequencies typically range around -25 to -45 dBc. divided frequencies typically around -20 to -30 dBc.
    third harmonics: for fundamental frequencies typically range around -20 to -35 dBc, divided frequencies typically around -10 to -20 dBc.

    Specific use cases can be tweaked. What kind of levels are you aiming for?
