tpl5111 in one shot mode, is there going to be a problem if Done pin should be left floating?

Thanks in advance, I also wanted to ask if instead of mechanical switch it's ok to use a transistor as a switch?

Hi Neo,

In any mode, if the DONE pin is not used, it should be grounded so there is no chance that noise or interference will cause the device to register a pulse.

Also, any method that drives the digital input pins to a logic high state can be used to control them. See Table 6.5: Electrical Characteristics.
