LMK04803: About Clock output status for disable condition

Please let me check about CLKout status in the case of disable.

Which CLKoutx status High-Z or Floating?

(I think that CLKout's disable status is High-Z, is it correct? )

And, can LMK04803 setting High-Z or Floating by register setting?

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Any update on this?

    Is output status High-Z, correct?
  • Hello,

Here is some info on your question.  This data is informative and not-assured.

The measurement is made at CLKout by forcing a voltage with a power supply and then measuring the current through a meter.  The other output is floating.

    I measure ~0.34 V at device output when CLKout#_TYPE = 0 (Powerdown) and Clock Group PD (CLKoutX_Y_PD) = 0
    I measure ~0.38 V at device output when CLKout#_TYPE = 0 (Powerdown) and Clock Groupd PD (CLKoutX_Y_PD) = 1

The output is more or less High-Z.  From approximately 0.5 V to 3.5 V it can be considered high impedance.  But if you for example grounded the output, you would see some current flow through an approximately 175 k resistor.
